New Years at the lake.

We had a great New Years celebration quietly at the cottage. We pulled in just before dark with just enough time to shovel out the end of the driveway and get all our heat sources going. We dined on frozen pizza and spiked coffee before giving up on our soaked and frozen wood supply. Tim and i journeyed 45 minutes to Minden to buy overpriced wood at the only open gas station we could find before returning to camp. The new logs worked wonders, as we almost slept outside due to the heat wave. New Years day was filled with skating on the late, toboganning down the hill in front of the cottage, and trying to turn any white snow into yellow snow. Thanks to Robyn, Tim, Parker and Tanner for joining us to bring in the New Year. We had a great time. Happy New Year!
